No — this is a mineral-rich morning moisturizer, not a tested or registered sunscreen. It contains non-nano zinc oxide which creates a soft mineral veil, but it has not been tested for SPF and should not be relied upon as your sole sun safety measure. We recommend using it as part of your morning skincare ritual.

Will it leave a white cast?

No chalky finish here. We've carefully balanced zinc oxide with arrowroot and a touch of organic cacao powder for a smooth, naturally tinted blend that disappears into most skin tones. For very deep tones, we recommend warming the balm in your hands and applying in layers.

Is this safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
