This balm is formulated with non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral that physically blocks UVA and UVB rays, but because we have not gone through the FDA’s drug approval process, we do not label it as a “sunscreen.” Think of it as a daily sun defense balm that protects and nourishes the skin without synthetic filters.

Will it leave a white cast?

No chalky finish here. We've carefully balanced zinc oxide with arrowroot and a touch of organic cacao powder for a smooth, naturally tinted blend that disappears into most skin tones. For very deep tones, we recommend warming the balm in your hands and applying in layers.

Is this safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
